“The Drop” and the Cons of the Aspiring Perfectionist

To start, I was on a roll in terms of academical success.

The first few week of the second semester gave me a positive vibe, and I feel less stressed than the previous. Probably because I found this part of the school year much more interesting in terms of subjects studied, and I was actually having a lot of fun with it. However, nothing can provoke my soaring spirits more than getting “The Drop”. You all know what “The Drop” is, it’s that sudden shift of the universe in which where favourable circumstances turn into fantastical chaos — and the suddenly, it seems like the most horrible thing in the universe.

In my case it wasn’t that bad, it was just that thing I had to horribly screw up in Bio. Human errors were a bitch, and my mark took a downturn just for the little things — the few cons of the aspiring perfectionist. I certainly believe that there is a chance that I’m overreacting, since all this pack of text was dedicated to a worksheet. A worksheet. But grades are grades, you know? It must be that whole Asian complex working, or I’m just really really caught up with the whole mess. I don’t know anymore, hopefully the kids will make my day better.

Also, the “Hearthfire” DLC for Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is out on PSN for 2.49 CAD, or whatever currency your country has (limited time sale, it’s a bargain)!
